When I was twelve, I knew I was a painter and have never wavered from that, although life did interfere now and then. A few years later, I discovered the Impressionists and I was hooked.
I paint in watercolor or acrylic, mostly cityscapes of New York, New Jersey, some Nashville, Florida. Philadelphia and now Kansas City, all places I’ve lived.
Currently I sell mostly on eBay. I was also showing my work at the Jones Gallery in Kansas City until COVID-19 happened and the gallery had to close down. I had paintings still on display at Buttonwood Art Space, another gallery in Kansas City
A few years ago, I was part of a large art show in Nashville and I was named the third best acrylic painter.
My purpose is to put more aesthetics into the world and hopefully uplift my viewers and buyers with my work. I notice that the degree to which I enjoy doing a painting is about the same as what my viewers feel when they look at it.
